The Twisted Sisters are meeting at the beach this week - there were some rules, but I forgot them as soon as I started making this card. I do know there was suppose to be water and a boat and some twine or ribbon or something. I am just taggin' along anyway so they can't really kick me off the bus can they?
I watched the tutorial, I emailed her, and I still couldn't get the brayer to work. So I sponged it and it almost worked. Close enough.
My picture is twisted since this is the Twisted Sister challenge (actually I haven't figured out how to finely straighten a card on my new computer - I guess I will have to break down and buy some software.....).

Nancy! Rulz? Sistah, you don't need any rulz, let me tell ya! This is gorgeous. Your reflection is outstanding, and the calm, relaxed feeling of sailing is upon this my friend. Your sky is amazing and that tag is too much. The lil book, twine- ai yi yi....gorgeous! LYMIMIMIMI

The Twisted Sisters met at the beach?? I wanna come, too! Your card is delightful, with that beautiful sunset behind the sailboat. I love that you even made a shadow to give this some dimension. Beautiful!

Yep, I've seen that tutorial on Zindorf's gallery and I have to say, you did an incredible job using sponging instead. Your blended colors are spot on and I love your sailboat and special details at the bottom. Anutha winner Sis!

I just love the shading on this card. I hope to master this technique myself one day. So much color and depth to the image. It makes for a peaceful relaxing scene. Just wonderful.
