What a fun time I had at the Rodeo VSN Mini! This was probably my favorite challenge! Talk about BLING Galore! The theme was "All That Glitters..." And, the dresses the Queens wore were described...I decided to show the Pageant's winning Queen of the Rodeo! In layers of pink sequence...put on one at a time..in layers and layers, to show the swirl of the "fabric." They were glued down individually with Scotch's liquid glue. After they were set, I covered her entire attire with Elmer's Glue...I knew the sequince would be all over the floor and I would never get a clear photo if I didn't take some of the shine off...the Elmers did it! I really like her crown and make-up for the big day! I think she enjoyed having a face...she doesn't usually! LOL
Thanks for hostessing this challenge, Toni. It was a blast! The over-night drying time...I don't know if that counts against the 41 minutes I spent making the card! Let me know please!

Hi, it's Traci again...the photo was uploaded before I could list the elements of the card. This is what I wrote on the VSN link, if you care to know how it was made:
I used a Magnolia or Tilda image that I received in a swap. And, I covered her dress with pink sequince...with a dab of Scotch's liquid glue on each one. I colored her hair with SU! So Saffron, and then highlighted it with Sakura Gold Metallic. I used SU! Blush Blossom for her skin. Her lips were colored with Marvy Rose Pink. Her tiara is made with Pink Stickles and 3 different rhinestone stars I fond in my glittery box. I used Blue Brocade by SU! for her eyes and eyeshadow...and a bit of white Signo Uni-Ball. Her fancy-shmancy shoes were colored with Sakura's Metallic Pink...with a bit of Stencil Collection's Clear Glaze over them...and on her eyes, too. The large tiara has pink gems and one rhinestone gem on it. Her gloves and socks were colored with Pretty in Pink by SU! The dress was covered with clear drying Elmer's glue for two reasons...to hold it all together, and to cut down on the glare when photographing. It worked well. She is on a Brocade Blue SU! Paper...and was stamped with Jet-Black Staz-on ink. If anyone wants to count the sequince--go for it...but there are many layers in some areas. I wanted to give the "fabric" the illusion of flowing and gathering in areas. Any of you who count them all deserves to be "Queen for the Day!"
Thanks for reading. I hope you will share your comments with me. It is how I learn...and some bring a smile to my face! Thanks for your time!

Traci, you may not be getting many comments on this card because of the "keyword" field in your description. That is where you copy the keyword from the Hostess's challenge and paste it. That places it in a gallery where we can find it. You can edit your card. At the bottom of your photo description, you should see an edit button and go back and put in the numeric keyword in for each challenge if you want. This one's is AUG11VSNMINI4. You man know all of this, but this is such a great card, I wanted to make sure it showed up in the gallery for the challenge.
