Lovely site this morning. I like a lot of the French illustration styles, we always seem to come back with a couple of beautiful children's books any time we're in Paris.
Julie Mercier's lovely maps would have let me make a card I wanted to make, but I fell for the simple design and monochromatic hues of La montagne et l'oiseau. I obviously got something right as DH knew it was a mountain, LOL.
I scored a double frame in a white A2 card base. The mountain was just torn from a scrap of paper. Chipboard is all Maya Road - hard to believe I've nearly finished my second tin of those birds!! I used Brilliance Platinum and ColorBox Chalk Charcoal Grey for my inks. Leaves and berries punched from scraps, a tiny red bow and black half pearl finished my grey bird off. I added a sentiment from Cheep Talk.

You have definitely rocked your inspiration and I agree with the others I really like this better. Love your 3d on this card and the scoring really adds to the overall effect.....
