This is for the Inspiration Challenge (SIC104) “Pleasing Plaids.” The challenge, not surprisingly is to use plaid on your page. As you can see, my background is plaid on this dps about my DGDs’ rainy day activity at Grandma’s.
Journaling: “We had hoped to take you guys to the spray park, but it turned out to be a rainy day. What to do at Grandma’s on a rainy day? Crafts, of course! Each of you picked out the plaster animal that you wanted to paint. You both worked very hard at doing your best. While Mady painted her bee yellow and black, Jaycie preferred a multi-colored look for her dog.
You guys managed to have a great time on this rainy day, even tho’ you never did get to go to the spray park!”

These colors are great with the photos. I like how you put embellishments and photos in the squares, and they complement the plaid, or vice versa. Great journaling. I like it on the strips.

Love the template! I like how you were able to find the embellishments that go along with these pages so well. especially the bumble bee, paint brush and the palette...very cool!
