For my card, I discovered that this paper from October Afternoon... one of my favorites actually, was a great match for these colors! I pulled out my Verses Rubber Stamps and chose to use this Cheer You Up stamp along with some pretty new Linen ribbon from Flourishes, a Prima flower, a leaf stick-pin (thanks Bar!) and the High Tea Doily Die-Namics from My Favorite Things.
My layout was inspired by the sketch at Card Positioning Systems this week, although my design took a turn and strayed somewhat from the sketch! Still, it was inspiring!
There's a little bit of plaid paper behind the ribbon, so those plaid "stripes" make this one fit for the Fan Club challenge this month, too!
