I was really trying to make Cindy and my sis proud this week since I am usually late and I do not bake. So I started early making 42,000 gingerbread cookies. I had them cooling on the counter when the door bell rang.....Much to my surprise there was a dotted reindeer asking for directions. Since he had dots I was sure he was from the Teapot challenge since we are known for our dots. I heard a commotion upstairs and ran to see what was going on. All of my cookies were gone except one. I quickly grabbed my camera and snapped this shot of the suspects. Have you ever seen a more guilty looking group of reindeer? My lab, Pacer, still recovering from his 42,000 baths trying to get back to black....didn't even bark!!! Well that's my story and I am stickin to it!!!
Ok the truth...I could not find a gingerbread cookie digi, stamp or embellishment in JULY!!! So.....I had to explain reindeer in my card for this challege. I know...back door and no cookies.
Thanks for looking and putting up with my silly story.
A side note....did not crop because my tree looked too beautiful!!!

Yup, they all have a guilty look on their faces! They probably have cookie breath too, though I'm not gonna smell it to see...
Very cute card Connie Jo! And hey, they have the coloring of a gingersnap or gingerbread cookie!! I love this stamp!

You're getting pretty good at the story tellin Sis! This card is just super cool in sooooo many ways. Your "guilty" reindeer remind me of DD's dog Ginger. No matter what she is doing, even sleeping....she still looks guilty. hehe Nice job on the sanded snowflakes. They really pop out. Match your ribbon too. Love the photo with the sun in just the right spots. You nailed the challenged today AND on time! hehe Love it! & You! TFS :0)

Snort, this looks like a deer version of my sons caught re-handed....absolutely priceless image so very well colored.. This alone tickled me! Adding that border and the sanded embossing makes this a truly special card.I love everything about this Connie Jo!

Well isn't that an adoarble lineup! I suppose the reindeer get jealous of Santa getting all the cookies & milk on Christmas Eve. You really can't blame them, I hope the culprit(s) get off easy. Very very cute!

, when I saw your title I couldn't wait to read the story. So that's why those deer always look so guilty. As always I like your embossed background - something I look for on your cards. And that ribbon - it's gorgeous!!
