I am new to this also. But, I have to say, I like the way it turned out.. not solid. While more experienced stampers will have a better answer, I think I would have just used watercolor pencils for a more "covered" color , if you aren't happy with the way it turned out. Cute card !

Very cute. You can color the stamp with markers or I tap a solid stamp on the ink pad and then rub the stamp on the pad like you are scrubbing something and then tap again......
