, I think I'll make a somewhat less Christmassy card to tickle another teapotter with; this one is altogether too Christmassy to send out in this weather, but I couldn't resist using the image.
I'm not a big one for digital images, but I've had a few gingerbread house ones that came from my old PC so I don't remember the origin. I printed this on Bristol Board and sprayed with fixative before colouring with re-inkers.
I added AppliGlue for all the icing, Glossy Accents to all the red and white candy and some silver glitter in the foreground when I couldn't find my white Flower Soft.
A2 white base is striped with a Sakura Glaze pen.
Blue layer is Bazzill Bling, stamped and embossed with a Hero Arts snowflake in white.
I added silver Stickles round all the edges, and a sentiment from Riveting with a tree brad in the centre.

Oh all that snow is perfect for this weather. If it wasn't for Ice Road Truckers I wouldn't make it through the summer. I love the hearts coming out of the chimney and the house looks good enough to eat!

Sabrina, what a darling image! Your coloring is fabulous. I agree, it probably wouldn't travel well in the heat people have been having. Your card is just a delight to the eyes. LOVE it! TFS :0)

This is one scrumptious looking gingerbread house, Sabrina!! I love it!! It looks as if you put about as much work into this house as you would a real eatable one!! And for the hot weather that's hitting most of our nation, this may be just the ticket, cooler thoughts!!

This is totally cute, Sabrina. I love the blue DP in the background of the gingerbread house - which is so cute and colored wonderfully. I don't think it's too Christmasy - it would deliver cool thoughts at least here in the U.S. since we've been under such severe heat warnings.
