I asked for advice on using this new CB EF. Cindy, mothermark, suggested inking the folder - I knew about the technique but I had not thought of it. Then, I have a goal of actually doing something about all my favorites (see this wonderful item by calgirl): MMTPT154, Look out Tate!! by calgirl at Splitcoaststampers
she embossed on some awesome DP.
Next, the fan Club theme this month is to use text 0 this DP does have text, about where the ribbon is.
To continue my novelette...regarding the near disaster, etc. I intended to use more of a raspberry reinker, but in the early morning picked up blue instead - hence, blue flowers. I decided they were ok.
I sprayed Glimmer Mist on the sentiment - it came in a torrent rather than a fine mist, so I pretty much soaked the piece.
Then I picked up a bottle of glue - I wanted a drop and got tablespoonsful as the cap was loose. Right over the top of the card! I moved FAST and it all ended up on my hands and a nearby napkin, as well as the sentiment piece. Just made it look more antiquey...
I highlighted some petal edges with a white pencil, and added Stickles to the flowers and sentiment.
All that being said, I am pretty happy with the result.
Thanks, fan club, Cindy, CalGirl and others.
