Day three of Mark's Finest Papers Blog Hop features this Lilac In Summer image. I went with a vintage sort of paper and accents on this as it makes me think of my Grandmother when I look at these Lilacs. She had Lilac bordering her property in the full range of colors. We used to cut them and put them in vases and fill our houses with their heady aroma.
I used Spellbinders Motif and Nesties dies. The butterflies are Martha Stewart. The paper is DCWV . The flowers were made with the Martha Stewart Hydrangea punch and I used a lot of stickles. The leaves are a sizzx die
Hope today finds you with a tall glass of ice tea and a cool breeze. It is 110 degress here today!

Wow - this is so pretty! Love the lilacs and the pretty little pink flowers. Amazing card in every way. It has been really hot here too - you know Montgomery was named the 3rd hotest city in America (that is where I work) - what a distinction! Cool hugz to you!

I'll take the cool breezes and ice tea, but only if I can watch you make those roses IRL! Carol, your talent is incredible!
