This is for today's sketch challenge from our lovely Roxie..we welcome her back and thanks all those who helped us along and filled in for the sketch challenges..:0)...A co-worker is leaving us and transferring to another city so I made him a farewell card we can all sign at work so a little bigger< now to find a envelope big enough...lol...think I should have done that first..lol...I dont remember the name of this new to me tecnique , but I cut out a circle on a paper, then sponged in there then put the circle that i cut out over top and sponged the clouds and water , then I removed the circle and stamped the sailboat and the sentiment, which got a touch crooked..hoping still ok late to make another whole card and didnt know how to fix it... then I added the one bg layer and instead of using a dp I made it like the clouds and sponged them as well. then found this perfect ribbon for it added it to the card base and glued it all together. When i was finishing I remember these little charms I had bought a bit ago and thought it would be cute on the corner, so one can steer your way...:0)..Thanks for visiting...:0)

What a great way to "tie" this card together by using knotted rope as a panel! I love the big bold sun and charm too! Whenever I make an err on the sentiment, I restamp it on another piece of cs, cut out and adhere over the first one. Not sure if this would have worked for your card though. = )
