I had so much fun with the faux silk technique using paper napkins I thought I would do it again with a napkin I picked up Thursday night from my bunko group.
Being that I live on the gulf coast sailing has been a great pleasure of mine. It has to be one of the most relaxing and calming summer past times.
I have also choosen this scarf from Posh Vintage http://www.poshvintage.com/prod_one....w1=12&isspan=0 with all of the sail boats as inspiration.

The napkin technique is pretty cool- have seen it done but have not tried it myself. Made a beautiful card here- I love the little "enjoy" flag on the side too- nice touch!

What an awesome technique ... the little pennant sentiment is perfect and I love the texture of the shoreline ... while my sailing has been on a Midwestern lake, I agree, it is one of the most peaceful experiences of my life.

You have become quite an expert with the faux silk technique...this looks FABULOUS!!! I once spent a week on a 60 foot sail boat in the Virgin Islands...it was like a dream come true!!! The ribbon, pin, and little flag sentiment are the perfect finishing touches!!!
