My grandson just got a 'boogie board' for his 8th birthday, so I thought that he might like a surfboard birthday card. I got ideas for this card from these two super cards: Beach Scene Card by LorriHeiling at Splitcoaststampers Summer Splash by Mayi Cards at Splitcoaststampers
My waves are not too accurate, but I don't think that our grandson will mind. I added Smooch Pearlized Accent Ink and top coat to get shine on the hubcaps and 'foam' on the waves. The sun is made using the circle and star punches which Maria did on her card. I used a marker to add to the Happy Birthday sentiment from Perfect Punches to try to make it look like a blimp. I'm definitely not an artist, but this was a fun card to make!

Scene cards are the hardest to make and you have done an awesome job combining lots of different elements. The attention to detail shows all the love you put into this for your DGS. I know he will love this.
