A couple of challenges inspired this card. I tried the Joan Ervin's faux silk with a twist for the technique. This also fits the Very Vintage challenge as well. I silked the skirt on my dress form with mulberry paper, distress ink and pearl ex. The design and layout was inspired by Nancy William's gallery. She is Queen this week and these are the two cards that inspired this: QFTD53 - Blossoms by nwilliams6 at Splitcoaststampers This inspired my sketch and this: FS213 - Case of Neva by nwilliams6 at Splitcoaststampers inspired my design. Thanks Nancy for all the wonderful jumping off points!!

Simply gorgeous Michelle! Wow...would you look at those fancy borders/corners! (I guess you've seen them already...wink, wink.) A delightful vintage scene, the colors are so soft and feminine, the sponging is a wonderful delicate accent and the embossing is the perfect backdrop for it all! A wonderful card, my dear!

Michelle, I sat and studied this card looking at all the very pretty details - love how you made the skirt silk and the gorgeous flowery corner - beautifully sponged and stamped bg too!

Michelle, I love this card! I feel honored that you used my cards as some inspiration for it! I love vintage cards but don't seem to make as many of them as you would think - I think I need to get these sets you have used so I can do a better job - they are simply lovely. The flowers off the page are so cool as is that skirt (looks so real). Stunning!!!!! Thanks for playing in my gallery! Hugz!
