Late again. This is my card for TLC332 which was Faux Silk with a Twist. Because of my love for distressing, I love to use a used coffee filter (washed well, of course) for my faux silk. My twist was to ink it well over the top with Ranger Distress Ink. Then I stamped it with words from America the Beautiful, added a small piece of embossed vintage sheet music and some stickers. Sentiment is computer generated. I like it.

That's awesome! That coffee filter with the words stamped on it and then sponged looks PERFECT with the music score and the patriotic stickers. Great job!

CONGRATS ON BEING A GINGER GEM THIS WEEK! YAH-HOO!
Amazing, wonderful card, Carol! The faux silk wrinkles, inking, stamping, and embellishments are great. What a super flag sticker. I wanted to try this and the acetate/tissue technique, but I couldn't find any brown tissue paper. Never thought to use a brown filter ... and used at that. How cool to have it distress stained for you already! You know I LOVE your cards!
