Result of workshop taken at Na-Da Farm in Esmond, IL (near DeKalb) last May. Presented by mixed media artist and clothing designer, Jeanne Oliver, workshop was held in a barn!
Such fun being surrounded by a group of talented artists. We used paper scraps (pages from books, scrapbook paper, sheet music, etc.) pasted onto an 8 x 10 canvas board using gel medium. Modeling paste was used and painted to resemble the figure's hair. Acrylic paint, smooching spritz, charcoal and colored pencils also used.
