This entry qualifies for three of the July CreativeCrew challenges : (1) to use something new (CCrew0711CF), (2) to use InColors that are current (CCrew071DF), and (3) to scrapbook a page with family.
The new items are: Chipobard and Fabric are new to the catalog. Concord Grape brad and ribbon and reinker are new to me to use (even though I have had them for a while!)
The InColors are: Concord Crush reinker (used in the watercoloring of the flower, used also in the acrylic paint for the chipboard elements), Concord Crush StampinÂ’ Write marker, Concord Crush ribbon. Pear Pizzazz (retired hostess) dsp, Reinker (watercoloring of the leaves). And Wisteria Wonder cardstock, Fabric, rinker for the chipboard and the flowers.
The family scrapbook focus: This is me and my DH Bob, at the party I threw for him when he turned 50. We had just redecorated our new home, and we invited our loved ones. It was a fantastic day, and this photo captured a very peaceful moment for us. I am taking a course in organizing photos and recently came across this one again. I was glad for the chance to cherish this photo. I keyed off of the grey in BobÂ’s shirt, and thought it matched our new purple perfectly.
One other note – I wasn’t using Concord Crush at all. But now that it has its sibling – I can see myself using it a lot. These colors are beautiful together!
