This is my teapotters story for Back to School Back to School. To Learn to Count would be cool.
Well, we all know the story about Mary and the lamb.
Did you know that Mary's great great granddaughter was named Jane? (Go figure!!) So this is a story about Jane.
Jane had a little dog, his name was Spot you know, And everywhere that Jane went, Spot was sure to go.
See Jane run.
See Spot run.
See Jane jump.
See Spot jump.
See Jane add.
See Spot being bad!!
Spot ate Jane's homework. OH! NO!!So he came to school to prove to Miss Grump it really was true....
That dogs eat homework.
Now, Jane has to stay after school.
The End.
Thanks for a fun challenge. Whoever gets my card will also get a book mark made from the vintage arithmetic flash cards!!

Bev,
What an adorable card - I love how Jane is pulling Spot around the corner - and the image is wonderfully colored. Wow, does that bring back some memories. The Jane stories - there was a boy too used in the story - oh well - I can remember now. We used to have to take the little books home and read aloud - I bet Mom and Dad got a bit bored with Jane - see Jane this and see Jane that - not really, they always liked to listen.

Bev, this is just wonderful. I remember Dick and Jane and Spot in Mrs. Schiffer's first grade...what a simpler time! The layout is fantastic...did you find a Jane image or did you freehand? Either way, wonderful story, wonderful card...TFS (Thanks For the Smile!!)
