Oh no, back to school already! We just got out last week, well the teachers and students did, the office works all summer! The Teapot Challenge this week is supposed to help the teapotters count correctly or accurately and after looking at that destination thread, I think it's going to take a little more work!
I added my numbers using a piece of the paper measuring tape that you can get when you walk into IKEA. I must have about 42,000 of them stashed away and I get the "what are you going to do with that" look from DH every time I grab one or two (or three) as we walk in. There's just enough white space to use a border punch on and I do love to recycle.

Into my favourites with this. You've so captured the pot with those lovely swirls and button flowers, and the little triptych scene. I think it's the lacy tape measure that tickles me most - I wouldn't mind one like that in my work box.

You truly have taken the teapot and used the image to make a delightful card. Love the punched border. We are finally getting an Ikea store and guess what I am going to grab.

Now that measuring tape has numbers in the right ballpark!! Your triptych card captures the teapot perfectly!! What a sweet scene!! I've never been in the IKEA store, but I may have to make a visit, just to get some of these tape measures!!

What a brilliant use of those tapes I have stashed because I have to pick up a few each time I go to stick in my knitting bag. Now when was the last time I was knitting??? Anyway, I was looking at your darling scene and thinking how great it matched the teapot and never even realized I was staring at an IKEA measuring tape! duhhhhhhh
