For the challenge I chose to stripe up my sea shells.
The largest shells are a stamp pattern from Eureka that is cut apart, scored and folded, glued together at the bottom and attached to the card. You can color it anyway you wish or just stamp and shape on colored cardstock. I chose to color with Prismacolor pencils and here are my color choices: Nectar – 1092, Powder Blue – 1087, Cream – 914, Jasmine – 1012, Dark Brown - 946
The mountain and valley folds that stamp to guide you are what gives the shells dimension and it will collapse nicely for mailing. The shell underneath I cut away the bottom section of the shell and glued to the card to avoid bulk. This makes more sense if you look at the pattern that I have linked below.
After I attached the 3D shell images I stuck the sticker on cardstock cut slightly smaller than the image and attached to the card. I applied Glitter Adhesive in the spaces between shells and surrounding them then poured on a mixture of very light yellow, brown and copper embossing powder for the sand, I DID NOT heat emboss and it was exactly the look I was going for.
