I decided to experiment with Faith's white-filled .png image for the challenge at Designed 2Delight this week. The brick background was hand drawn by JD from PAUSA's husband, and the two of them were kind enough to share it with the teapot gang a few weeks ago. The two images were printed on watercolor paper, then colored with Twinkling H2O's. Things were going well until I over-spritzed with water and the ink started to run, but it almost looks like shading on the vase, so I went with it.
Thanks Faith and Mr. JD from PAUSA!

Hilda, You did a great job with this card. I'm so happy you were able to use the brick pattern made by my husband. I'm sure it will make his day. (and maybe I can talk him into trying to draw something else to share)

Pretty vase and flowers. Gorgeous card - love the background. Your overspritzing does look like shading on the side of the vase - really looks good like that. Some of my favorite cards turned out the way they did because of an accident. LOL
