I needed a birthday card for my brother and I remembered this fantastic card from Lyssa Griffin Zwolanek (GWTW Junkie) that I've wanted to CASE. I must have found it on her blog but it's not in her gallery here to provide a link (sorry).
I used a green base but chose Garden Green and I changed the orientation of the design as well. I decided to add a little texture to the base by stamping tone on tone with the wood grain BG stamp. I chose a different sentiment as well. I did distress the layers and dirty up the card using direct ink pad to paper technique.
Anyway, it's the coolest guy card I've seen in a long time. My brother works in the family construction business so he will get a kick out of this. Thanks for viewing and commenting.

Kathy, this is TERRIFIC. Being married to a do-it-yourselfer, this made me laugh out loud...especially the duct tape! Thanks for the smiles....and idea! ; )

LOVE the duct tape - it's my favourite tool! My theory:
If it doesn't move and should, use WD40.
If it moves and shouldn't, use duct tape.
all problems solved!
