My dear friend Pam - aka Bailmac has been encouraging me to try some new techniques. I think she knows and does a large variety of them, and so that makes me want to try something new occasionally.
Anyway, this is the faux linen technique and Beate has a tutorial on it that you can find in the resources section. I probably didn't do mine quite perfectly, but I enjoyed it none the less. My craft room is quite the mess, and adding sanding dust to it doesn't help, but sometimes you just have to do it.
I used a few stamps to make my own dp and that was fun.
Thanks for looking, and if you're not afraid of making a mess, try this technique out. :>)

Ha, Ha!! More like, if you're not afraid of adding to the mess that's already there (in my case!!). You did a wonderful job on this, Kim. I love the linen effect and the collage style.
