A mirrored photo frame I decorated as part of a birthday gift for a friend. Really pleased how this turned out, I was a tad concerned about gluing to mirrored glass! The butterfly was die cut using the SU! Beautiful Butterflies Bigz die. I die cut 3 Whisper White shapes, glued them together and applied a coat of Glossy Accents. When that had completely dried, I applied a coat of Tim Holtz Picket Fence Crackle Paint. After that had dried I sponged on plum and eggplant inks and applied a coat of gloss varnish.
To finish off the butterfly I attached a pearl stamen as antennae and added a white velvet flower with a gem brad centre. I made sure the glass was really clean by wiping it with rubbing alcohol before I glued on my decorations. I glued on the buttons and butterfly using LocTite Super Glue. The last thing was to add crystals to the flower petals and buttonholes.
