If I could have made my cowboy pink I would have had BINGO on the weekday challenges on this card. Got them all but the color! I don't know if you can see it, but the piercing is around the star.
Yeehaw!! Loved playing with my cowboy that I have had forever--and the poor feller ain't never seen any ink! Thanks for the kick with a boot to git me a'goin' on this here card! LOL!
EVERYTHING--the star, the card base, the paper piecing, the scenery has been distressed using Direct to Paper method. I love it. I don't know if you can tell in the photo, but it looks like a painted canvas.
This is a Texas cowboy's idea of *A Wonderful World*
One more note--on the DTP--I used Staples white 110# cardstock. It is rougher than Whisper White and does fun things with the DTP technique. Remember that WW used to be called UltraSmooth White?? There's a reason for that!
I have my living room decorated Texas style and there is a barbed wire wreath hanging over my couch. Today it came in handy for staging! LOL!

How do you just happen to have barbed wire lying around?! Cute prop! Love the texture you used on this!
