Summertime is all about the weather and the activities that the weather allowsÂ…such as swimming and spending time in or near the water. I remember as a kid seeing scenes much like this paper I used for this cardÂ…rows upon rows of drying bathing suits and beach towels. When I saw this fun paper called Watermelon Gazpacho Soup, by Jillibean Soup, I knew it was the perfect paper for this card. You can find these great paper packs at I {Heart} Papers.
With a yellow card base, I took papers from the 6 X 6 paper pack and applied it to the base, adding a die cut using the Large Pinking Circles and a journaling “sprout” also from Jillibean Soup. To further embellish this card, I added some bakers twine, two fun clothes pins that I colored with Copic Markers and a Claire Exclusive Clay Button that I thought made a great addition to the “summer” tag.

How fun and fabulous this card is. It reminds me of my back yard as we have an above ground pool you can't get us out of on weekends during the summer. How bright and cheery. The clothesline and clothespins are a pip! How fabulous!
