Hello, All. I hope your weekend is going well. I am on the tail end of pain after getting a shot in the heel of my left foot. I am almost paranoid of needles and getting a shot in my heel almost made me comatose. My doc was so proud of me since I didn't scream or cry. He may feel differently if he ever notices those gouges I left in his examining room wall while he was administering that shot. LOL!
Ok, about the card. I made this for a senior lady that has retired from her job at one of the churches I deliver mail to. She is the tiniest thing, so I gave her the nickname, "Itty Bitty". I really love this lady. She is so kind and always has a smile for everyone. I haven't seen her in a while but she still comes to church every Sunday, so I'm going to leave this card there for her.
Well, there is nothing particular about the card. The image is a vintage reproduction of a Nestle advertistment. I found a seller on ebay that sells this kind of stuff. If you are interested, drop me a line and I will provide you with the info.
Have a nice evening and thanks for looking! See you next week.

Holy cow! I was reading your post rather quickly and at first I thought you wrote that you were shot in the foot (as in bullets)! I thought "And that dear soul had the energy to share her card with us?". I am glad it was "just" an injection. And I'm sure the doctor has to paint every so often anyway!
Cool card -- one I'm sure people will want to handle and examine. So many textures, colours and patterns. Very special. Thanks for sharing with us.
