I was inspired by a card layout I saw in a craft magazine recently, and had to create this birthday card.I love how the craft colored card stock is just enough color to help the blue card stock stand out and the peach ribbon to pop. I added two pearl head pins with additional pearl accents and added glue to the thread of the button once the pins were attached so that they would not slide out. I also used earring ends, glued on with E6K to prevent poking. The frame is a vintage image and was printed on a lighter card stock in teal but it came out much darker and older looking because of the color of the paper it was printed on. The striped Ribbon is from Hobby Lobby, and I picked up the doily from JoAnn. The corners were adorned with flat back pearls.
Card Size is 5x7

Can't believe I am the first to comment, this is a lovely card. Isn't it fun to add crochet to a card! I love your kraft/light blue/peach colour combo.

All the time and effort you put into this lovely card shows. I love every detail and that ribbon/pin treatment is to die for. Love the handmake crochet mat - what a fantastic touch. Hope you will upload more as you are very talented!

Your card is so very elegant! I love the high texture of the doily, beautiful pins with pearls and the ribbon. Hobby Lobby is one of my favorite stores.
