Here's another thank-you card for my birthday gifts. On this one, my friend gave me the Studio112 Tags and the large tear-drop shaped gems. I stamped "thanks a bunch!" from Penny Black in Not Quite Navy ink, then matted the tag with Always Artichoke paper, punched a hole in the top, and tied a bunch of different ribbons. I curled the ribbons with the heat gun and then attached them to the sides of the tag with Scor-Tape. I added all the bling to the tag and popped it up on dimensionals. The faux stitching around the outside edge of the card is done with a tracing wheel and ruler.

Wow!! I'm just loving all those wonderful blues!! Love the vintage feel and that fantastic ribbon/fiber layer. Thanks for outlining the technique you used to achieve it. Your "gem flower" is dazzling.
