Here is a blatant case of Michelle Zindorf's fabulous card Golf Anyone - MZ by Zindorf at Splitcoaststampers. I made it for a seventeen year old friend of my son's who made his first Hole-in-One yesterday! I used Michelle's amazing tutorial Blogs at Splitcoaststampers. I do not have the Tempting Turquoise ink Michelle used for the "sky" so I used Taken with Teal instead. I used crumb cake and grey for the shadowing on the golf ball, Michelle recommends River Rock and it I think that would have looked a lot better. This was my first attempt at using a brayer and it was tricky at first (my first attempt went into the trash can) but was really fun and ultimately satisfying. How I would love to attend one the Zindorf brayer workshops!!! I keep checking Michelle's schedule to see if she is coming within a few hundred miles of my house!!! Someday....

What a beautiful memento for your son's friend! I'm sure he'll never forget his first 'hole in one'. I love the shadow on the golf ball and the indentations on the ball. Love that you put the date on it too!
