I hope my card doesn't stick out of the gallery like a sore thumb. I try really hard to match the given colors, but don't always succeed because I am having to work with what I have. (Karen gave such pretty ones to use this week.) I also have overcast sky so the colors are a little off in this photo from the real life. OK. I'm done with my excuses... I used Nina Brackett's sketch for Card Patterns 116. I also tried to get the dessert in by making a french bow. My first attempt at one. Boy did I struggle with this bow. I sure hope practice makes perfect.

What a beautiful card, Marilynn. Love your ribbon treatment and the lace and music bg. Wonderful floral circle and your signature gorgeous butterfly. Great sentiment too.

Well, MariLynn, you'd never know that you struggled with the bow! It's simply awesome! What great elements you've put together to make this lovely card!

This does stick out in the gallery b/c of it's beauty! I love the lace and that gorgeous bow. How do you do that? Your butterfly is beautiful - as always. And I love the flowers on the brick wall.
