My CAS2011summerDT2 color challenge card to use dark brown, sand and peach. I used Chocolate Chip, Sahara Sand and Peach Parfait after stamping my main image with Timber Brown Stazon. I colored my image with reinkers and my blender pen. I like how you can get a soft color look by adding a bit of water to the blender pen and then go directly to the ink with the blender pen for darker shading. I usually use watercolor paper or Shimmery White for all watercoloring techniques, but you can use WW or VV with the blender pen if you are careful and do not over do using the pen, which can make the paper pill.
The other technique I used that is a favorite is the "Out of the box" technique. The only cutting I did was the upper part of the top leaf. The image has enough shading that it looks quite dimensional without cutting out.
I added only two embellishments: the SU Antique Brad and Kraft taffeta (ret) to keep the CAS style. I really like how it turned out and hopefully you all do too :-) Enjoy and TFL........
BTW, this is a 4 1/4" square format....my favorite :-)

Very pretty Nancy. Love the little extra bit of ribbon and brad. It finishes it all off so perfectly (or "peachily" if there's such a word! LOL) So pretty.

One of the first things that strikes me about this card is how well the leaves and antique brad tie in together. The second thing that makes this card so great is the out-of-the-box style with the leaf. I love how this card turned out.

Very pretty Nancy. Love the colors and the coloring. The out of the box leaf and the brad/ribbon treatment are sheer genius on this one. Good luck - this is one team you should definitely be on!
