OK, it's my turn. I am the "bad girl" at this Tea Party. I know everyone else will be here with their nicey-nice beach stuff and here I am brooding in the corner like an Avril Lavigne has-been with this card. Let me explain... when I make a card for someone, I really try to put myself in their shoes, think what they think (or at least how...). I read Joanne's description of Anthony and I kept getting visions of Linkin Park - intense, cerebral, a bit dark on the surface but musically phenomenal. I won't take any cookies nor drink any tea (you're probably afraid that I'll smash the cups anyway). I'll just have fun watching you have fun and maybe write a song about it someday...
Stamped the guitar image from Perfectly Clear stamps Rock Out in platinum shimmer paint repeatedly and quickly embossed with faded jeans distress EP and a touch of glass glitter. Tore & distressed a piece of Marina Mist CS, sponged shimmer paint around the edges, stamped with sanded in Tuxedo black and embossed with TH EF, Ripped and shimmered orange CS then randomly "smashed" with shimmer paint. Stamped the drum kit in Desert Sand (you can't see it but it is right in the center of the orange panel), then the sentiment in Tuxedo black. Mounted all on a Marina Mist card. PT - resting If you haven't already, please play along at the Teapot Tuesday party for young Anthony: MMTPT146 ~ I CAN'T GET THE TWANG! THIS MUSIC'S TOO SLOW! by Mothermark at Splitcoaststampers
Thank you so much for looking. I'll try not to be so rebellious next time. Have a peaceful day.

I'll share my cookies with you. How wonderful that you put so much into creating the card for the recipient. The colors and the masculine feel of the card are perfect. I'm sure Anthony will love this card. (better than my dorky surfin Granny, for sure)

Hey I think Rebellion Rocks!! Life would be pretty boring if we didn't rebel once in a while. I think you put yourself into this one as well as a nice pretty card. In fact it may be harder to do this because it is so different. I think this will be a well loved card. You figured out what someone this age could relate to. Super card!!!!

Way to go - that is exactly what you should do- this card is wonderful and I am sure he will love it. I will come sit over in the corner with you - I haven't read the MMTPT story yet, but I am not much of a beach person. Hugz!

OH my, what a perfect boy card. After he looks at all our beaches and seagulls, this is the one that will go up on his wall. Fantastic interpretation of the scene even if you do get a can of Red Bull instead of tea.
