This was mw first attempt at a tri-shutter card and it was fun. I made the wilted roses after seeing a great tutorial: http://www.stamperdog.com/2011/04/wi...ial-video.html. I made the roses with polyester satin ribbon that I notched at 1 inch intervals and then heated the 1 inch sections with my embossing heat gun. It melts the edges so it curls like a rose petal. I then attached it to a 1.5 inch piece of cardstock covered with sticky tape. I used a large pearl button with the backing clipped off for the rose centers. These roses are really fun to make and it is very satisfying to watch the "petals" curl with the heat gun. Who doesn't love instant gratification?
