This is a very quick and easy project using images and the stamp positioner.
What made this border easy to stamp was the stamp positioner and two Hero Zero rulers. The ruler has a 0 in the center with the same measurements out to each side so itÂ’s easy to line up on the card and I used two as guides for the square points at top and bottom. I always make the first stamping in the center and work out on one side then repeat on the other side.
This ruler is one of my favorite tools and so inexpensive, and I found it at MichaelÂ’s. IÂ’m not affiliated with the company, just sharing what makes the task easier for me.
On the insert I stamped the flourish border in two directions on each corner.
I used apple green and lime peel Prismacolor pencils to add color to the leaves of the sentiment and the flower is from a Fiskars border punch.
For the gift box I covered an old white card box using the Scor-Pal for measurments and scoring. Fiskars adhesive tabs were using to attach the paper to the box and AleeneÂ’s tacky glue to attach the flap of the paper to itself once folded.
Stamps: Shady Tree Studio – Backyard Springtime, Center of Attention (sentiment)
Paper: Bazzill – textured white, unknown lavender glitter papers for the flower, DCWV – white flower center, Making Memories – checked designer paper
Ink: Memento – Tuxedo Black
Accessories: AleeneÂ’s Paper Glaze for flower center adhesive, tacky glue to attach to the card, Prismacolor pencils, baby oil, Fiskars adhesive tabs, tools, Scor-Pal, stamp positioner, Hero Zero ruler
