I LOVE margaritas so it was really fun to use the recipe provided by Mary Pat to "mix up" a scrapbooking equivalent. I only wish I'd had the ingredients for a proper one to sip as I went!
Stew and I LOVE mexican food, but our first meal here was Mexican and it made us both ill. We are probably both put off Mexican food for a good while. Anyway it seemed fitting to use this challenge to scrap some photos of us enjoying some touristy moments in DC.
The journalling is gold (signifying tequila), in case you can't spot it! I used mainly orange and yellow as per the instructions provided and went WILD with the big sparkly, velvety flowers. I was thinking how much I like those cute cocktail sticks & umbrellas and the flowers kind of hint at those. The big yellow flower/citrus background paper is both textured and pre-made on my Cricut. I just got it and I am still exploring the possibilities (and wasting lots of good paper!). Finally, I personally believe that margaritas NEED salt, so my bling is the little stars (a nod to the Stars and Stripes).
Hope you like it and thanks for looking.
