My son is dating a lovely girl. They are a lot alike -especially in their love for music.
I stamped the guitar image with stazon black on almost amethyst and a piece of paper that I used the faux mother of pearl technique on. Cut out the face plate (it has a real name, I just can't remember it - pick guard, maybe?) and pieced it to the almost amethyst.
Stamped the image from Sketches in stazon on watercolor paper. Using the aquapainter, I tried to give it a sunset beachy look. I'll keep working on that!
Attached it to a mellow moss base, using the basketweave corner punch, for a nice simple look. The hardest part of the card was cutting out the hand to attach the guitar!
I hope she likes it!

Doesn't it make us feel great as Moms when our children find great mates?
Your card is lovely.... looks just like a water color painting.
I miss you... I haven't been stamping much, I had back surgery ( unsuccessful) So, I'm still in a lot of pain.
I do have a new grandson, he is BEAUTIFUL. So... that makes me smile.
Hope you're well my friend. xo xo

A girl of my own heart. I prefer an acoustic guitar, but a guitar and relaxing by the sea, my idea of a place of happiness!!
