This is for FS222 and Jo aka reddydyisco is our featured artist today. Congratualtions, Jo! I had a great time this morning browsing through your gallery. I was so inspired by your gorgeous red floral CC317 card. Reddyisco:CC317 by Reddyisco at Splitcoaststampers I was so surprised to red that you don't like using red because this is such a lovely floral. I kept Jo's same layout, color combination with a touch green added and also used a floral stem type of image. I added punched paper flowers instead of coloring and created layered my project with a frame for dimension. Instead of adding a bow in the corner I added a floral spray.
I thought about my mother on this special Mother's Day mornin. I lost my mother in 1999. She was a very talented florist and taught me how to design flowers when I was a young girl helping in her flower shop. I really enjoy using the skills she taught me to create pretty paper crafting projects. If you would like to learn how I made my punched flowers and floral sprays you can check out the tutorials on my blog. Punched Flowers- http://kittiekraft.typepad.com/kitti...-tutorial.html and Floral Spray http://kittiekraft.typepad.com/kitti...-tutoiral.html
I hope you are all having a wonderful Mother's Day.
