Here is my card for MAY11VSNMINI5 - walk the plank. I made this card with significance I guess. I'm giving it to the family whose home is being dedicated tomorrow at Habitat for Humanity. I have worked on their house since Jan, every Saturday as a Team Leader. They got this home because of their 21 year old daughter who is working for the money to pay for it.
They were Kosovo refugees so the evil eye is something they have around their home. I made one for my main image. It is to ward off the bad from people giving the evil eye. I have the eye looking over their home.
We were supposed to use wood or wood grain. I used that in the background. Wood is what starts their home. The added extra was to use brads for the plank. I did that as well.

LOVE your wood grain technique, it looks fabulous.
What an amazing story about the daughter working to pay for the home, WOW. Clearly you've put alot of your heart and soul into their home and this project. Thanks for being a shining star in these peoples lives
