Benzalina! Queen! I am thrilled to see you honored this week! Yeah! Wow, from Prez to Queen, how cool is that! Brenda, I have been a fan of your work for-evah, and it was so great to go thru your gallery, "shopping" for the card I needed! I chose Fancy Fold Rooster, keeping the design and changing the colors/images. The rooster is what drew me in, but I need a retirement card for a self-proclaimed a Fishin' Fool! I loved the fold on your card and was a little skeered to try it, but I love how it turned out! Thanks for the inspiration. (I needed to get out of my 5x5 box!)
After cutting my DP, I used the wild running stitch Kokirose taught me, and framed one of my favorite Mo's Digi images. I am still practicing with Copics, and need lessons badly, but I had fun making this card.
Brenda, enjoy the ride! You so deserve this! Hugz....

Sweet Benzi so deserves the crown and I am so happy to see her made Queen this week!! What - no 5 x 5 card??? I say, its about time you took a step out of the box, my Sistah ! And a fine step it is, taking in this pretty folding card of Benzi's as your inspiration!!
The "wild" running stitch is perfect on here, especially with that fishing DP, but the Image couldn't have been better for a retirement card - fisherman or not - brings thoughts of lazy days to mind, and there is no better way to spend one's retirement than by slowing down and enjoying every moment!
I predict this will be a favorite keepsake to the gentleman receiving it, bar none!! I'd say your copics re coming along just fine, thank you, Ma'am, this is the perfect retirement card in every way!! LYMI!

Wow! Beautiful colouring work! I am a big fan of kokirose's wandering stitch, so it's great to see her pass her talent to other stampers. The stitching really adds such a rich detail to the sentiment panel.
