Well itÂ’s Teapot Tuesday! We are trying to keep Shelly Mae Shulep from the Mint Juleps, at least for a few days. hehe To read the complete story, go here Â…Â….continuing on with mineÂ….
Some of you might not know of this place. It's called Tulip Hill. It is located way back in the North Forty where they train the horses for the Kentucky Fried Derby. Let me take you and Shelly Mae there for just a momentÂ…Sit back and enjoy the rideÂ…....IsnÂ’t this a peaceful place?
Bet you never knew this was how the horses are trained before the big race. Today Houston, Max and Nobie are “on the round” as it is called, preparing for the big run. Actually, they are just playing around and making quite the distraction for Shelly Mae and her love for the Mint Julep. hehe
Well so much for the relaxing. Say, letÂ’s all go get us one of those Mint Juleps! Never had one before, but it sounds utterly delicious!..... according to Shelly Mae. Hehe ....card detailsÂ….
The tulips are from Hero Arts, the rest from Mutnik. Coloring done with copics, the clouds RR cloud stencil and then sponged, grass from MS punch. LotÂ’s of cutting out, popping up. I added the brad buttons, twine and a little charm from my sis. Put on a black AC card.
Boy, I am on “behind time” today. Can’t seem to catch up! Oh well………..Say, has anyone seen Curt?........TFL :0)

That's a really large blue tulip on the bottom left of your card, oh wait, is that Curt - I think he's been using your Copics again - because he is a beautiful shade of blue!
You are a hoot! Love this card.

This is another fun and fabulous trip into Mutnik land!! I want to live there - it's a bright, happy world with blue skies and blue cows in fields of gorgeous tulips! Love it!

I love your carousel Cathy!! I don't know, but will Curt get jealous with Max getting some of the limelight... I see Curt is lurking in the tulips, keeping his eyes on Max, Houston and Nobie! He's watching the horses fly on that beautiful tulip carousel!! Or maybe Curt got into the juleps that got poured into the tulips! Such absolutely wonderful creativity!!

Soo fun! I think Curt's hidin' in the grass tryin' to blend in... maybe he's hopin' to be confused with the tulips and get him some mint juleps????

Poor old Curt has drank so many mint juleps his circulation has been compromised and he's turned an unhealthy shade of blue. You can see all those julep soaked tulips in his stomach for heavens sake.

Cathy, cute story and lovely card and yea!! now I know how they train those race horses!!
Me thinks Curt is hiding in the tulips in the moonlight!! He is looking a little puny.... kind of pale blue...

Okay, I am back with my comment! Hey, I gotta comment in order or I get all confused! Doesn't take much ya know! Love that adorable hunk of blue Curt! Snort! Every week when I write the story I try to imagine what you will build! Sometimes I am right on, sometimes I have no clue! Ha! All I know is these horses better get down to business or their business will be bringing up the rear....You literally have pretty much EVERYTHING on this card! Ha! What a kick you are!
