We have our nephew's wedding this Saturday and had the clever idea of making one for the Bridal Head Table. I didn't want to use any images at all, only diecut and embossed papers. Of course it had to be entirely white too!
I started with the box itself using a shimmery ivory cardstock. After cutting all the pieces for embossing, I had to decide which folders to use. I totally forgot about the smaller folders that I have. When I saw one that reminded me of a lace border, I knew that was the one for the smaller strips on the lid. The base panels were embossed with a leaf and bird design. To finish off the box I applied 2 pearls at each corner of the lid. Oh, I almost forgot, the 2 punched hearts on the front panel is from a Martha Stewart punch!

This is just beautiful. And I agree, what a great idea for a wedding table. I'm a grandma and have been through a few weddings - yes, I always tear up a little.....
I made some of these at Christmas, and loved how they turned out. I totally forgot I was going to remember, lol, to make some more throughout the year with different themes.
I've already missed Valentines, but Mother's Day is coming. I can just see these made with bright spring colors! Thanks for sharing your lovely box.
