I've been in a funk since last week and couldn't even make cards. On Monday my mom found a lump in her breast, on Friday she had a mammogram, appt. with surgeon and biopsy. Last night she found out that it is for sure cancer and after she has an appt with a plastic surgeon tomorrow she'll be scheduled for surgery within a couple of weeks. It is all happening so fast and it is a lot to soak in at once.
I made myself make a card today; first...I want to send her a card now that we know for sure and second...I really need to keep sane and stamping will help me with that.
So, I did a CAS card with the color challenge colors today. Sponged a bg with Celery and Baja Breeze, stamped the flowers in Stazon then colored them with Poppy and Celery markers and added some gold gel pen highlights. Added a fork bow and sentiment, some Poppy framing and called it done.

You made a beautiful card, albeit under distress. I am so sorry you are facing all this uncertaintly, and will remember you in my prayers as I ask God to bring you to mind. Your card is lovely. ~~

This is beautiful--the sparse composition is lovely and that little bow is adorable. What a wonderful way to keep yourself busy AND let your mom know you are behind her all the way. Your support will mean so much to her!
