The QFTD challenge goes on. Thanks Trish for keeping Miss Ryan's challenge going. What a great choice for today. Congrats Karen! Enjoy your reign. I must say you have one fabulous gallery. What fun I had browsing your wonderful creations. For my card today, I chose this card......details....
I was inspired from an e-mail I received from my Sister. There was a family in Colo. Springs that kept finding a barrel that they kept water in, empty. So they set up a camera to see if they could figure out what was happening.
Low and behold did they find the culprit. It was a big black bear! They caught him on film sitting in the barrel as if it was his own personal hot tub. So I just had to sketch him and share him with you all....now my card...
Colored my bear with copics and prismapencils w/gamsol blending. Cut the panel out doodled edges and layered with dark brown cs. Set aside.
For the F4A57 challenge today, we were to bring sunshine. So I sponged a sun on my card and scored the sun rays which worked perfectly because Karen's card had scor lines on it too.
Well to finish up I doodled the sun, then popped up my image panel and Wal-La, a done card.
Karen have a great time being Queen. Hope everyone has a great weekend.....TFL :0)

I love that story! Bears can be so cute, yet so terrifying! But yours is ALL cute, thats for sure - this card cheers me up with your bear having a bath under a bright yellow sun - creatively done, as always, Cathy!

I hope they were putting hot water in there for the bear...he he he! Cute card and terrific story. I like your sun and the scored rays, but I really like your bear and the accompanying story!! Maybe they should put out some TP for the bear too! I want to see that one on film!
