This Tuesday the challenge over at Flourishes was to mask. I masked the grass in the foreground and overstamped the trees. I used a real acid green for the grass and wasn't happy with the colour so went in after and brush stroked over top with a duller green. The net effect was I could have just done the brush strokes to begin with and not bothered to mask. I think I chose a bad project to mask. After I finished that I went to stamp a potted geranium between the trees but the scale was wrong so instead of wasting all the tedious time cutting a mask for the grass I decided to turn this into what you see, a framed scene. The trees are from Flourishes "Trees" and the grass from "Swan Lake". The lavender farm is a Stampendous stamp.

I agree with bfinlay, youve created a beautiful French country scene! Great job on the dimension, layering and colors, all you need now is some cheese, wine and good company!
