I'm still working on my brayering technique after taking the Zindorf class. This is based on one of the cards she made; however, I tried to lighten it up to appear more like a spring scenery. Don't know if I accomplished that but I tried. There are a few flaws as I continue to practice, so I'll probably send this to someone with poor eyesight!!
I embossed the image with black, colored the image, then used a versamark on all parts of the flower and embossed with clear embossing powder so that it would resist the brayering. Although I should know this technique, I'm a little late, so my twinzi sister 11-mos. apart, AudreyAnn, told me about this. Can't believe I've never tried that. Thanks my twinzi! It's so nice to stamp with others as each of you pick up new things.
The colors I used are listed below and I did decide to add just a touch of pink flowers in the b/g. Like I said, a work still in progress. I used an ef on the first white mat and I sponged the edges of the image panel.
Thanks so much for taking a look!!

ROTFL in regards to sending "this to someone with poor eyesight." Pamzi, you are too, too much!!!!! (But it's so true. I think about that kind of thing, too!! Are we nuts, or what???). Your brayer work is just amazing. Maybe I should hire you as a tutor . . . Beautiful spring card!!!!

It's gorgeous, Pam! Love your comment, though, about sending it to someone with poor eyesight. I must admit that I do the same thing with some of my cards. LOL... By the way, I think you're slowly coming to the SUO dark side, aren't you? (Insert evil laugh...)

You did achieve that springy look, Pamzi. This is delightful. Love the colors that you used, and your brayer technique looks pretty good to me. I like to use clear EP when I am paper piecing...I can see the lines better on dark paper. I blame the cobwebs that are in my corners on my poor eyesight...who wants to see them anyway? Very pretty card, nicely done.

Okay... quit being so hard on yourself. This is gorgeous! My corrected eyesight is pretty good, but if you want to send this to me, I promise I'll only view it without my glasses.

Great to see you are enjoying your "brayering". If you'll only send this to someone with poor eyesight I think you'll have quite a few of us claiming to have poor eyesight ;) I for one think you have done a wonderful job here. This card is beautiful! I love the daffodils.
