Or has Marco had too much wine to drink? Despite all the rumours, he's not really hunky enough for a male model, but who's interested in an ol' Model T Ford? Sally and Delore's dad, for one - all those snazzy new models he's had, he thought it was time to branch out into vintage.
A2 card, base layer is Basic Grey Marrakech. For yesterday's TLC I used the wine column from last weekend's paper for the next layer, sponging it with Antique Linen and Vintage Photo. I stitched it to the base and added photo corners made from a scrap of faux suede left on my desk. To add to the leather look I wiped the Textile ef with Walnut Stain before embossing them.
Voila chef stamped on the newsprint and on white card. I used a marker for his striped trousers and distress ink for any other colour, with a white gel pen for his bandanna. The buttons on his jacket are punched from the same card as the base layer, with Glossy Accents.
Sentiment is from Lots of Thoughts, with more little Basic Grey *buttons* in the corners.
Model T Ford is from Little Paper Shop, stamped on frosted Shrinky Dinks, and cut out with a little tab at the top. I punched a hole before shrinking, and used a brad to attach it over the platter.
This, I think, is the card that will go to Kim. It's just a bit less zany than my first one!

WOWZERS Sabrina... you're really rocking the challenge this week! LOVE both of your cards! This one is so much fun with the Model T being served! Love the faux suede corners and the chef's buttons... very clever!

You did a great job on both cards. I had a difficult time just doing one! I love how you did Chef's buttons to match the border and the car on the platter is absolutely adorable! Great job!
