The Stamping in Time assignment on ODBD at the moment is clear/glass, and the current Shining the Light challenge is New Life. I don't like doubling up, but I have a migraine coming on, so in case I don't get stamping time tomorrow here goes. I don't think there are many better metaphors for new life than caterpillars and butterflies. Acetate box comes from a tutorial in Resources. I used green Bazzill for the base and blue Bazzill Bling for the lid. For the base I added a strip of the same green Bazzill cut in a wave along the top, fringed and sponged with Peeled Paint for grass. I then added little flower sequins, with a drop of Liquid Pearls in the centre of each one. For the lid I used the SU punch and white card to make a decorative strip, and added blue Liquid Pearls. Blue organza ribbon threaded through to hold it closed.
The butterfly is from Don't Worry, stamped with StazOn Stone Grey and coloured with watercolour crayons. I added Stickles on the edges of the wings. The caterpillar is made from a green pipe-cleaner (can that be what they're called these days?), and a little green pompom (with the back cut off, so it was easier to attach to the box), with flower stamens for the antennae and google eyes. I meant to put some jellybeans in for the photo, but as I said - migraine :-(, so quick and easy rules.
