CAS110 challenges us to create an "out of the box" image. This was perfect as I'd been wanting to try out the tutorial on using Nestabilities for out of the box. It's trickier than it looks and I ruined my first couple of attempts by cutting into the image on an angle.
But I finally got it. I kept it very CAS - just a simple pot of hydrangeas cut out with a rectangular Nestie, popped up on dimensionals on a white cardstock base, and a simple sentiment underneath.
I coloured the flowers with blue, mauve, and purple Prismacolour pencils and blended with blending stumps to try to create the look of blue hydrangeas when they start to fade to mauve.
