This card is for a friend. I wanted to use my new Penny Black stamp and I've been wanting to try the Black Magic Technique, but with a bit of a twist.
I stamped the flowers in white craft ink on Baja Breeze cardstock. After drying with a heat gun, I colored the flowers on the craft ink with Copics instead of color pencils. Sponged the sky with Baja Breeze, Marina Mist and White Craft inks with an oval scallop mask. Then using a torn Post-It Note I sponged the bottom with Old Olive, Always Artichoke and Basic Black inks. Stamped the Pocket Silhouettes at the bottom. Highlighted the flowers with white gel pen. Stamped the sentiment in White Craft ink and embossed with white ep. Stamped the butterfly on a scrap piece of Neenah white cardstock and colored with Copics. Cut out the butterfly and glued on card. Finished up with a touch of Stickles and mounted on a piece of scrap turquoise and DCWV white sparkle cardstock.

thanks for a great new idea. don't know why it never occurred to me before but the copics would be perfect for this technique. Your card is a work of art.
